A recollection by Herbert V. Buehl of Beloit, Wis. about his tour of duty aboard the USS Arizona from December 7, 1940 to December 7, 1941. In it Mr. Buehl recounts the various duties to which he was assigned and describes the general operation of a battleship. The final pages are devoted to the Pearl Harbor attack during which he was on board the Arizona.
